These terms apply specifically to employers who use our Services to verify candidate information.
- Access to Verification Information: Employers may access verification information of candidates who have provided them with a unique Verified Path Gold code or have granted explicit consent for their full report to be shared.
- Use of Verification Information: Employers agree to use the verification information obtained through our Services solely for legitimate recruitment and employment-related purposes. You shall not use this information for any unlawful, discriminatory, or other prohibited purposes.
- Accuracy of Employer-Provided Information: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of any information you provide to us in connection with your use of our Services.
- Data Protection Responsibilities: As a data controller, you are responsible for complying with all applicable data protection laws and regulations when processing the personal data of candidates obtained through our Services. You must have a lawful basis for processing this data and ensure its security and confidentiality.
- Fees for Employer Services: Access to certain employer features, such as requesting full reports, may be subject to fees as outlined on our website or as otherwise agreed upon in writing. Fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy.
- Consent for Full Report Access: You acknowledge that access to a candidate’s full verification report requires their explicit consent. You agree to obtain and provide evidence of such consent when requested by Verified Path.
- No Endorsement or Guarantee of Suitability: While our Services provide verification of certain aspects of a candidate’s profile, Verified Path does not endorse or guarantee the suitability of any candidate for a particular role. Hiring decisions remain solely at your discretion.
Section C: Terms for Candidates (Verified Path Gold Members)
These terms apply specifically to individuals who apply for and obtain Verified Path Gold status or use our other candidate-focused Services.
- Application Process: You agree to provide accurate and complete information and documentation during the application process for Verified Path Gold status. You are responsible for the authenticity of all submitted materials.
- Consent for Verification: By applying for Verified Path Gold status, you grant Verified Path explicit consent to verify your identity, right to work in the UK, work experience, qualifications, and to contact your provided references.
- Reference Contact Details: You are required to provide accurate and up-to-date contact details for references from each of your listed employers. You acknowledge that failure to provide accurate information may impact your verification outcome.
- Data Storage and Use: You authorize Verified Path to securely store the details obtained during the verification process to maintain the active status of your Verified Path Gold certification and to provide the Services to you and potential employers (with your consent).
- Sharing Your Verification Code and Badge: You are responsible for how and where you share your unique Verified Path Gold code and badge. While we encourage you to use them to enhance your job applications, you are solely responsible for any consequences arising from sharing this information.
- Maintaining Up-to-Date Information: To maintain the value and accuracy of your Verified Path Gold status, you are encouraged to update your profile with new employment or qualifications. Adding new references may be subject to further verification processes.
- Fees for Verified Path Gold: The Verified Path Gold service is subject to fees as outlined on our website. Fees are payable as specified and are non-refundable except as expressly stated in our refund policy.
- Revocation of Verified Path Gold Status: Verified Path reserves the right to revoke your Verified Path Gold status if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the information you provided was inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent, or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
- Consent for Employer Access to Full Report: You have the right to grant or deny permission to potential employers to access your full verification report. You acknowledge that granting access may expedite their hiring process.
